Ashley's Beautiful Day for 5K
This beautiful event is to raise money for the Ashley Williams Memorial Scholarship for Cosmetology at Lake Land College in Mattoon, IL. Ashley was a 32 year old lifelong Martinsville resident who pursued a career making people beautiful from the inside out with a hair salon with friends in Marshall, IL. Ashley tragically lost her life in a car accident February 23, 2020. Ashley was well known and loved in her community. She was a friend to many who also gave 100% of herself and her time to others in need. She was known for her smile and friendly disposition everywhere she went. A scholarship has been created by her family to help another student pursue their passion of cosmetology.
Registration
$20.00 - If registered before February 15th
$25.00 - If registered between February 16th - March 1st
$30.00 - March 2nd - Up until race day
Location
The 5k and 1 mile walk will take place just miles from where Ashley was born and raised.

The run will start from Lincoln School on 1500th Road going east to Bluegrass road, north on Bluegrasss road to 1600th road where runners will turn west and run to Cleone road where they will run back south to the finish line. They will have a ½ mile cool down jog/walk back to Pap-R- Products where the finishing ceremonies will take place and award winners will be announced.
Packet Pickup Locations/Times
Join us on Thursday March 18th from 4:00pm - 6:00pm at the Marshall Chamber of Commerce for our first day of packet pickup or on Friday March 19th between 11:00am - 1:00pm at Lincoln School in Martinsville Illinois!
Race Day Schedule
7:00am: Race day registration and packet pickup will begin
8:00am: Welcoming ceremony and announcements followed by a word of prayer
8:15am: Race start!
